Only problem with double hanging kayaks is the fact that I am 5 ft tall and can't reach the top buckle. Work great and have a handy paddle holder too! Ignore my mess, lol.Like these, gets the kayaks off the groundThis took 5 minutes to hang. Perfect solution to get the kayaks out of the way!Had to purchase hooks at the hardware store, only a couple dollars, but had to make a trip. Would have been nice to have them included. Otherwise they work well.Easy installation on a shed, just make sure you put the eye screws into studs or something sturdy. Using ours to hold a paddle board. Just keep one side looped and put one end of the paddleboard through the loop. Then you quickly pick up the other side and connect the sling loop. After that you can move it around to properly center the board or kayak. NicePerfect for hanging in garage in winter and then under a deck during the warm months. I set hooks in both places and it makes it super easy to transfer.As advertised. Pelican brand with teal and black straps and teal and black carabiners. Ad noted that I needed to get hardware to attach to wall. Pretty simple: 2 sturdy eye bolts (screws) into the studs and installation was complete. Not a simple task the first time to suspend the upper kayak alone but with 2 people was really easy. Lower kayak easy for one. With use the upper should be easy for 1 as well. These are lightweight Pelican kayaks so no weight issues although system advertised to hold up to 200 lbs. (100 per strap). Suspended the kayaks measure only about 15" from the top of the kayak to the wall. The depth of the kayak seems to be the only variable on the horizontal space requirements as they allow them to hang straight down. Detachable so can be used with 1 or 2 boats, boards, whatever, or can be removed from the wall easily.This product was a big problem solver for my garage storage limitations. It is a quality product and adapted to my situation perfectly. I mounted the straps near the ceiling of my 10 ft high garage and inserted 2 kayaks into the straps, tightened them up and I still had room to pull my truck all the way to the wall under the bottom kayak.This product effectively stores our kayaks on the walls of our garage and out of harm’s way for the winter. The quality of the product/straps is excellent and I like that the paddles are stored along with the kayaks. I am using for off-season storage - the kayaks are quite high off the ground how I am using them so I am not offering an opinion on using them or on ease of use for regular in-season storage. A great storage solution for us. It is perfect and love it!! FYI- You have to purchase your own hardware to install on the wall so you have something to attach the Caribener Clamp to.We originally ordered this set and were sent one of the two straps just tossed in a package with no instructions or anything. I returned and decided to try one more time to order again and got a package of the 2 straps with instructions. Now that we have what we ordered, we love the straps. Easy to use and hang. We added longer straps of our own to have our kayaks hang lower which worked good. One little tip - when deciding on the width of your straps, be sure you measure according to how long your paddle is. We did the straps too far apart and had to take apart the paddles to put them in the paddle straps. Overall, great product!We needed a solution to hang our kayaks which required no drilling ( as they are stored on a common property). We were able to hand the straps from a beam. It was easy to install and it is every easys as well to store the kayaks.Works great but did not come with instructions. Securely hangs 2 kayaks flat against the wall, taking up less room than conventional brackets.Just make sure that when you are measuring your wall for location to screw in eye hooks (not included), that the straps are not mounted wider than the bar of your paddles. The straps have Velcro straps to hold your paddles.Very easy to install.... Just need a couple of eye hooks and you are good to go.... If you have the wall space for the kayaks this is a fantastic way to store them... The only downfall is it is alittle dirrictult to hang the top one by yourself.
