I wanted a cover for a notepad that would protect the paper cover from coming off. I have a lot of the spiral notebooks, and a lot of them are missing the cover because they tear off easily. She sewed me one that I use often. I think the one she made is prettier, however, there is absolutely no question that the Vepkoit pouch is far sturdier, and waterproof to boot. I also like that it holds pens, when the one my wife made does not. Having a variety of pens handy would be nice, and this pouch makes that easy. The measurements are plainly described, but my brain just did not properly visualize it until it was in my hands. It's far too big for a shirt pocket. However, I'm going to put it in the work truck. It can handle a beating and will make it harder for my folks to complain about not being able to take notes. My wife suggested putting either a belt loop on it or a velcro patch.
